Who can learn to ring?

Age limits for learners 11 – 60 (for insurance purposes)

 

If you can count, that is all the maths you will need and you can become a very good ringer without knowing anything about music (but a sense of rhythm will help)

 

You don’t have to be strong to be a ringer, this is because it is the technique that makes it happen. Probably the most difficult physical bit is climbing 37 steep steps!

 

To comply with the relevant Safeguarding Policy, all young people under the age of 16 must initially be accompanied by a responsible adult
